I think strengthening and expanding social security is critically important there are some people especially in the Republican Party you talk about privatizing inter cutting it or reducing it I

believe that we actually need to expand social security you mentioned one of the ways to do it to raise their the cap I think it probably should be higher than that one hundred and eighteen thousand frankly

but ... also immigration reform would help extend the solvency of social security but the bottom line is this ...

we have a a lot of people that are approaching retirement years and they no longer have to

have the three legs of that school personal savings or pension from work so it's incumbent upon us now in the in

the here and now to strengthen and expand social security and to be willing to pay for it because we know that

that will help our economy and and help our nation
