Ted Cruz: On the Issues

we have a crisis in illegal immigration and the unhappy truth is neither party is serious about solving the problem in

my view we need to do three things number one we do everything humanly possible to secure the border the reason they're eleven minute million people here illegally is

contrary to rule of law and it's unfair to the millions of illegal immigrants who waited in in line and came here legally and

number three we need to remain a nation that doesn't just welcome that celebrates legal immigrants who

follow the rules and come here seeking the American dream the first bill I intend introduced in the U. S. Senate is a bill to repeal every

syllable of every word of a bomb to care and I intend to lead the fight to get that done this in the enormous pressure to compromise I

ever and we shouldn't be following the you and we should be following the constitution of the United States and

the Congress of the United States you know there is no issue I am better known for nationally then being one of the leading defenders in this country of U. S. sovereignty of standing up to

the world court and the United Nations and saying you have no jurisdiction in our country the only

binding law foreign law is not binding in our country the only binding law is you S. law and the constitution because

sovereignty resides in we the people and wish pending U. S. interests and not the views of the U. N. which is what president Obama is doing right got

a problem in Washington we got career politicians in both parties that spanned the taxpayer money that's how we got to sixteen trillion dollar debt that

is bankrupting our country I don't support bailouts period I don't support the bailout of the auto companies I don't support the bail out of the banks government

shouldn't be in the business of spending taxpayer money to help private corporations the role of government is to protect our right protect

our national security to ensure rule of law and to stay out of the way and let entrepreneurs

create jobs and that's the problem with Washington his career politicians spending money and digging us into a whole that

is threatening the economic future of our nation we need to do everything we can to get the federal government out

of the way of energy exploration we need to be exploring and developing our natural resources we have the potential is lieutenant governor observed for energy

independence for the for time in modern history because of the incredible technological advancements in hydraulic fracking horizontal drilling and

right now the EPA the federal government is standing in the way stopping exploration I

strongly oppose the TSA's policy of groping innocent civilians I have spoken out on

Democrat to round up the votes on the floor against the bill and he killed the bill because he didn't want to stand and fight a bomb our

countries in crisis we're going broke our national debt is larger than a gross domestic product and the unhappy truth is it is been career politicians in both parties that have gotten us in this mess all

over the country Americans are standing up and saying enough that they're fed up with the same tired establishment incumbents who

don't believe anything in their turn turning to new leader strong conservatives and fighters who will stand up to Barack Obama who will stop the spending and
