you glad to be here let's talk about what's happening right now in Florida because it's pretty heartbreaking to see these pictures are supposed to be getting worse

and worse not better is that what you're hearing it is it is heartbreaking you see things sandy white beaches in Pensacola that are part of our heritage people raise their families their both

economically and creating family memories to see the pictures coming out today just actually breaks or what needs to be done right now or

center now George amusement talking about repeated when he did that federal government to do a better job of addressing what we have here senator Nelson is he doing a good job I

it's tragic to see this happen because of a lack of response we see we see the governor Charlie Crist your your challenger your

opponent for the Senate and we see him out there all the time a house you know or he's doing a great job of getting you know press releases and press conferences and video time and that's part of the job of being governor but the other part is to get results and right now we're not getting results from the Obama administration I

don't think the governor has pressed the Obama administration enough I think recently he said that he thought the Obama administration was doing a very good job there finally caught they

BP cut corners and love this accident they are ultimately responsible for what happened here but we also supposed to have a federal government who

by law is responsible for dealing with emergencies of this degree and they were prepared to do so they don't have plans to do so they don't have resources to do so and

sixty some odd days after the spill they're still not doing a good job you seem to disagree with governor Chris on the whole issue of offshore

domestic energy production and part of that may have to be offshore drilling allow the closer you mean all the nte or Pensacola you wanna see deepwater drilling going on the first of all for

a Florida law prohibits it near the coast so you're talking a deepwater drilling and I only want to see if it can be done safely and that's why it's so important we study why this happen and

you tell me we're gonna have to put up with a couple more of these of course not can we can it be done safely there's evidence that it can be done safely being

only if they can be done in the safe way well because I'm sure the precise because when he was on the show a about a week or so ago he said flatly he doesn't want to see any

offshore oil drilling anywhere near Florida but on this specific issue you have a different take well

my take on it is that America has to have domestic production we have to increase our domestic production I don't know how we do that if you don't offshore drilling something

else we can do instead maybe that's better but ultimately those who are against domestic production need to show where we going to get our energy I
