usual the pessimist left one thing out, the American people. I reject the

pessimism of the left that thinks that we just have to get used to slow economic

growth and become more dependent upon government. America will have the lowest marginal

tax rates and the most modern tax code among major industrialized nations. Taxes

should be lower, simpler, fair, and clear. Fair and simpler for most Americans.

The highest rates set at a twenty eight percent. By doing that, we'll return to the

structure enacted by President Reagan. This is a tax code designed to take us into a

their paychecks who haven't seen a raise in awhile. And what about America's

promise of hope and opportunity?

The American Dream will be possible for millions who have forgotten what it

looks like. You can't put a price tag on the American dream.

My plan works whether you're on Main Street or Wall Street. Vanishing loopholes and

share. No special favors, no special breaks. I feel like we just played the World

Series of tax reform and the American people won. We will compete with the

world and yeah, we will win.
