Mediocrity and Failure

how do we attract great people to achieve great things throughout this country no matter what profession you want to talk about we

honor and we reward greatness and in those professions we do not reward mediocrity

and we do not countenance failure and so that's what we need to do in teaching the tenure system countenance

is mediocrity and failure and it does nothing to reward excellence you get the same step up every year with your excellent teacher or a lousy one what

luckily for us we have a lot of kind of giving hearts in this country teachers who go into the profession but if we were able to start rewarding them and letting them know that

there because they know their colleague next door who's not put in the work who's not produce the results who's checked out already retired ten years before they left the classroom and

to watch some extra getting paid the same as they're getting paid and being treated in the same way they're being treated we have to reward this this is this

is not hard we now have the prescription for this but somehow we've a lot of the unions in this country to talk us into the fact that
