Rubio Endorses Romney for President

from the moment that senator Marco Rubio had the political stay America took notice and so did the Republican Party and with the GOP primary still very much on set he

is here tonight with perspective on what lies ahead for the Republicans much much more joining me now Florida senator Marco Rubio center welcome to

and I've concluded this one thing is all paying very close attention I think this is a defining moment we have a Supreme Court debate %HESITATION

very profound issues in terms of the economy unemployment record foreign policy is countries

that why I think one of the real reasons it seems the administration is is that's their strategy in many ways because

they can't yeah that's right this is a president Calderon is record I mean if you look at everything I mean your whole house home

prices are down your gas prices are up unemployment's up the dead and this is not a president can run on his record so when you can't run on your record you want the election to be about other things and one of the things the president a

deliberate decision on is that he's going to deliberately divide the American people against each other in a calculated effort to

get the fifty per fifty percent plus one and so I think it's so critical of the quicker we can get this campaign on that focus focused

on the president's record on the alternative that we offer the better off we're going to be as a movement but also the better off the country's going to how

it how concerned are you because the question keeps coming out that the the longer this drags out meaning the Republican primary that

might that might make it more difficult for the eventual nominee do you agree with that argument no I don't have a problem with primaries but I think we're at a stage now where at least two of the candidates have openly admitted that the only way they're going to be able to win the nomination I

disaster so I I just don't think that's right wise route to go we've had very good primary think all the candidates have a lot to be I

think it evidently an increasingly clear that Mitt Romney is going to be the Republican nominee well it's up to this point you have been you

had not jump into the primary race you endorsing that Romney well I am an endorsement Romney in the reason why is not only because it's going to be the Republican nominee but he offers at this point such a stark contrast I

beyond doing that at the same time as he has no experience with the private sector free enterprise I met Rodney we have a candidate an alternative that in addition to being successful at that governor running an important state in this country has

also been successful in the private sector and offers a very clear alternate the direction this president is going to take our country so look

I think all the candidates in this race have a lot to be proud of they've offered a lot of the day but I just can't buy into this idea that that

by their own admission and they're saying the only they can win this race is by having a floor for in Tampa in August and I think a

recipe to deliver four more years to Barack Obama in our country forget about the Republican Party our country cannot

afford that spend so we've got to come together behind who I think is are in this nomination announcement you know your name is often mentioned

%HESITATION senator as as somebody that would be on anybody's short list didn't and now tonight even doors Mitt

Romney heavy and he spent any time talking with him %HESITATION when and how well do you feel you know him one of the one

of the issues that came up in the campaign and that there was some doubt among conservatives you are you going to strong tea party advocates %HESITATION
