Marco Talks About Growing Up In Las Vegas on KSNV

senator Marco Rubio wrapped up a three day campaign swing through southern Nevada this week on Saturday I

had the opportunity to speak with him one on one we talk about is time growing up here in Los Vegas and about some of the challenges he faces moving forward will

raise we're a dolphins fan before you moved out here yeah yeah I don't I lived in Miami till I was seven Sharon

Los Vegas from the house he lived in as a child on east lava Avenue to his elementary school see see Rana to

I was here in fifth grade and again in seventh grade a lot has happened since the seventh grade first he was an up and comer in the Republican Party now

he's among the top tier contenders for the party nomination etcetera growing up in Las Vegas did

you ever say to yourself I want to run for president not really I mean you public office I had an inch politics and I followed I'm

realistic also revealed didn't grow up wealthy his mother was a maid at imperial palace his

father a bartender at Sam's town but he says he did grow up privileged and I grew up with two parents an unstable home who

working class voters in about a however won't be easy many belong to unions who support the Democratic Party and

Rubio stance he says is tough but fair my position on immigration is pretty straightforward I think we have to be responsible but reasonable about how we deal with it just

that simple like other Republicans in the race Rubio says if elected he'd like to repeal obamacare as

we create jobs when a much better position than we were what is your take on that and do you think you could improve upon that a selection yet

because it's true that we are technically near full employment but those jobs don't pay enough and you also have record numbers of people have dropped out of the work force you have to account for both of those things new

jobs at a created don't pay enough and you're measuring that percentage against a smaller poor people you have people that dropped out of the labor market and
