good morning and welcome to inside Texas politics our guest today the former Solicitor General of Texas the state's top appeals lawyer and Republican Senate candidate Ted Cruz and

greatly with the things that happened well with doers in the races we know he's jumping in here the past week the conventional wisdom is that it's his to lose he's been elected statewide

four times as you know claim to conservative record he's a multi millionaire itself finance a campaign if he wants to give

these obstacles why do you think you can turn conventional wisdom on its head well there's no doubt David can afford to write a huge check calm

but in my opinion money's not available at this race this race is going to come down I think to one question which

candidate is best prepared to stand up and lead the fight to stop the Obama agenda to

defend free market principles and defend the constitution what I'm running on is a proven conservative record an experience we found we built an

incredible grassroots team all across Texas and the experience we found is that when voters come
