senator we know we're not going to hear what the Supreme Court thinks about healthcare in till June but yesterday the

president did make some comments that have some people including the front page of the wallstreet journal guessing

that they're right now on the defensive trying to prevent this rule from getting struck down or the sloppy getting struck down there

is a a theory and there's a school of thought people who believe that if it is struck down that that will really

motivate president Obama's base and that will be %HESITATION a really tough thing to go up against in the election what do you think about that while

are scared to death of the one of the health care law they don't fully understand what it mean they cannot afford to go out and hire a lawyer to explain it to them because even the lawyer can't tell them because the rule hasn't been written so

what are they doing they're deciding you know what let me go part timer let me hire a bunch of part timers let me cut back on hiring let

me not expand and open up a new business until I fully understand what this law means that alone is reason to repeal this Nakamoto

ost the law is incredibly complicated there are a lot of people have been trying to figure it out but there's also a problem of millions of uninsured people in this country is

trying to pass something to deal with the uninsured in this nation yeah and even when I was campaigning us that we should just be about repeal we should be about repealing replace we do have a health insurance problem in America and how we pay for our health care absolutely and

I think we need to empower the individual to buy their own health insurance if they want to buy it to have the same tax benefit their employer has to

buy from any company in America that will sell it to them and I since I wish more Americans had as many choices as their members of Congress do when

they get their health insurance members of Congress get the pick from ten or twelve plans and you get to decide how much you pay a month depending on what kind of plan you want how

you don't get to pick your health plan I wish more people had the chance to do that etcetera what do you want to do about all those that are uninsured %HESITATION

what what what ultimately is the answer to that well that conundrum after that again I think yeah there's two how anti first as there are people who know but but

the question is two fold number one you have a group of people that are chronically ill these are folks that are impossible or very difficult to ensure their

pre existing conditions I think that's what government can be helpful was something like a high call a high risk pool that's

the role the government can play is to help ensure folks that are chronically ill you know insurance is based on the notion that you're not going to get sick for most of your life and when you do the money's been stored up to

pay for it if you're if you're guaranteed to be sick it's hard to ensure that that's what government can be helpful is

a high risk pool for folks like that for everybody out there should be a vibrant free enterprise market in health care so that individuals for example can

buy their own health insurance so your employer can decide I'm going to give you health insurance or I'm just going to give you the money if you can buy your own health insurance now

I would get the same tax treatment as my employer would get I would be able to buy that insurance from any company in America that will sell it to me small

businesses will be able to pull together with other small businesses and and create buying pulls among their employees these

are the kinds of options that we should consider for the rest of us for the healthy insurable folks for those at a pre existing conditions that's

a role government cannot and will be able to play at the state level and and creation and creating high risk pools it's hard to ensure that that's
